The Polytechnic University of Lisbon  (UPL) launches UPLisboa, its official mobile application, developed to facilitate access to academic information and services by bringing together a range of features designed to support the everyday needs of the university community in a single digital space.

Available for Android and iOS devices, the app allows students to check class timetables, rooms and lecturers, follow their assessments and grades, check attendance records and access course unit summaries. Users can also consult their degree programme, track their academic progress and check the number of ECTS credits they have completed.

UPLisboa also includes features related to academic services, allowing students to consult the examination calendar, register for assessments and check their tuition fees and other charges. The app also provides Multibanco payment references and the option to make payments via MB WAY, making administrative procedures more straightforward.

One of the app's key features is its virtual assistant, which allows users to ask questions by typing or using voice input and receive answers relating to their academic journey. For example, students can check their grade average, find out how many ECTS credits they still need to complete their degree or obtain information about class timetables.

Developed by Digitalis Informática and integrated with the netPA academic management system, the app provides secure access to information through institutional login credentials, the Portuguese Citizen Card or the Digital Mobile Key (Chave Móvel Digital).

Designed for students and teaching staff across the eight schools of Lisbon Polytechnic University, UPLisboa represents another step towards the digitalisation of academic services, making information more accessible and simplifying the management of students' academic journeys.

The UPLisboa app is now available for Android and iOS devices and can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play.
